We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Network Engineer to join our team, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure and services on Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure networking, security, and architecture, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Engineer availability is required until 7:00 PM UK time.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure network architectures, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
- Configure and manage Azure network services, such as Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, and Azure VPN Gateway
- Design and implement network security measures, including network access controls, threat protection, and encryption
- Ensure network compliance across all Azure infrastructure components
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with Azure network services
- Troubleshoot network performance issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Optimize network configuration and architecture to improve overall performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Azure networking, including virtual networks, network security groups, and network services
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Expertise in network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and encryption
- Skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in migrating on-premises networks to Azure Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Instances
- Experience with automating network tasks using tools like Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform
