About the company
We build software for businesses that want to create (or upgrade) and run a subscription offering. In business-model terms, we’re a B2B SaaS company.
So far we’ve focused on direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands selling physical products. Our goal is for our components to work in any industry where things can be sold by subscription.
We work where ecommerce, payments and developer tools meet, with a strong focus on developer experience.
The team is lean and made up entirely of very experienced people. We’ve built successful businesses together before. We’ve built some unsuccessful ones too, and learned a lot from them.
We’re backed by leading Central European VC funds and supported by advisors with deep expertise from established payments, analytics and ecommerce companies. We recently closed our seed round.
In other words, we have everything we need to focus on building the product, shipping fast and delivering value to our clients.
The role
Our product pairs an intuitive, modern UI and design with strong performance.
We’re looking for someone who is an engineer at heart and also has strong visual taste. You know what will work and what won’t, you can pick up any product problem and solve it, and you can grasp the vision quickly and execute on it.
This role will drive the next version of our platform and make sure it’s scalable, easy to use and built with developers in mind. You’ll work across teams to ship features that solve real customer problems, and help build a culture of technical excellence and innovation in a lean startup.
Our structure is flat, so we value long-term thinkers who are driven by impact, not opportunism. We take building strong relationships as seriously as building great products.
What you’ll do
Work daily with Product and Design to shape priorities and turn them into actionable engineering work
Help set product priorities that fit what’s technically feasible
Write code when needed and take part in architecture discussions
Make product feature delivery predictable and transparent
Explain technical decisions in terms of product outcomes
Talk to customers to sharpen how the product is built
Promote engineering best practices and make sure they’re applied consistently
What you bring
5+ years of combined experience as an engineer and/or product designer
Knowledge of many technologies and stacks, and the judgement to choose the right one for the job
Experience in product-led companies
Comfort working the lean startup way
Openness to learning new technologies
A proven record of delivering in cross-functional teams
Proven ability to design and build solutions in complex systems
Ability to work with support, development and growth teams
Excellent communication skills
Fluent written and spoken English
Fluent written and spoken Polish
Nice to have: experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) or subscription-based systems
