🚀 About the project
We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join an international project focused on the continued development of a native Android application.
The role combines native Android development with the implementation and optimization of accessibility features. You will work on making the application more accessible, improving navigation and interaction patterns, and ensuring compatibility with Android accessibility services.
We are looking for someone who has already implemented and tested accessibility solutions in production Android applications and can confidently apply this experience in everyday development work.

🧠 Your responsibilities
develop and maintain a native Android application using Kotlin
implement and optimize accessibility features using Android Accessibility APIs and Compose Semantics
ensure compatibility with TalkBack and other Android accessibility services
implement accessible UI components with appropriate content descriptions, roles, and states
improve accessibility focus management and navigation across application screens
ensure support for scalable text, appropriate touch targets, and accessible navigation
perform hands-on accessibility testing, particularly using TalkBack
identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accessibility-related issues
collaborate with the development team to improve application usability and accessibility
apply relevant accessibility standards and best practices, including WCAG 2.1/2.2
🧩 Must haves
minimum 5 years of professional experience in native Android development
strong practical experience with Kotlin
commercial experience with Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views
extensive hands-on experience implementing accessibility features in production Android applications
strong practical knowledge of TalkBack
experience with Android Accessibility APIs and/or Compose Semantics
practical knowledge of content descriptions, roles, states, and accessibility focus management
experience implementing scalable text, accessible touch targets, and accessible navigation
experience with accessibility testing, particularly using TalkBack
knowledge of relevant accessibility standards, preferably WCAG 2.1/2.2
good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international team
good command of English
