As an SAP-focused IT consulting company, we support businesses throughout their SAP journey, from system operations and authorizations to S/4HANA migrations, integration and cloud transformation.

We are looking for a Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant to support international SAP transformation programmes. You will lead the design and delivery of scalable Sales and Distribution solutions, translating commercial, logistics, pricing, billing and customer-service requirements into effective SAP processes.

Working with business process owners, architects, developers and project teams, you will guide solution quality from discovery through deployment and stabilisation.

Your Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP SD solution design for order-to-cash processes, ensuring scalability, auditability and alignment with enterprise architecture, internal controls and business objectives.
Analyse sales, quotations, contracts, orders, delivery, shipping, billing, returns, credit, rebates, outputs and customer master processes.
Configure sales documents, item and schedule-line categories, copy control, partner and text determination, incompletion procedures, pricing, outputs, availability checks and billing.
Facilitate workshops, challenge requirements, define acceptance criteria and maintain traceability from requirements through solutions and test evidence.
Design and validate integration with FI/CO, MM, PP, EWM/WM, TM, GTS, CRM/CX, tax solutions, middleware, e-commerce and third-party logistics providers.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration records, process flows, decision papers and implementation guidance.
Define data mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation requirements for customer, material, pricing, order, contract and related transactional data.
Coordinate unit, integration, regression, performance and user acceptance testing, manage defects and confirm readiness against agreed exit criteria.
Support cutover, mock conversions, go-live, hypercare and operational handover.
Ensure compliance with authorisations, segregation of duties, financial controls, data protection and regulatory requirements.
Resolve recurring incidents and process gaps, identify automation opportunities and prioritise improvements by business value.
Communicate options, risks, dependencies, estimates and trade-offs; mentor consultants, review deliverables and coordinate work packages.

Your Profile

At least 5 years of hands-on SAP SD consulting experience, including responsibility for multiple full-cycle implementations, major rollouts or complex transformation programmes.
Advanced SAP SD configuration skills across sales processing, delivery, shipping, pricing, billing, partner functions, outputs, copy control, availability checks and master data.
Strong understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes and their accounting, logistics, tax, compliance and customer-service implications.
Proven cross-functional integration experience, particularly with FI/CO and MM, plus exposure to relevant logistics or customer-experience components.
Ability to produce clear functional specifications, configuration rationales, test scenarios, process documentation and operational handover materials.
Experience leading workshops, advising senior stakeholders and resolving design conflicts.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including collaboration with business, audit, security and technical stakeholders.
A structured, detail-oriented and customer-focused approach, with the ability to work independently and across international teams.
Fluent English (B2-C1), both written and spoken.
A relevant degree in business administration, information systems, supply chain or engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

SAP S/4HANA Sales certification or a related qualification.
Experience with S/4HANA implementations, system conversions, selective data transitions or global template rollouts.
Knowledge of Business Partner, condition contract management, advanced ATP, settlement management, output management, Fiori applications or embedded analytics.
Experience with intercompany sales, third-party processing, consignment, make-to-order, returns, export scenarios, revenue-account determination or complex pricing.
Familiarity with SAP Activate, agile delivery, fit-to-standard workshops, clean-core principles and cloud-enabled operating models.
Experience with IDocs, APIs, EDI, SAP Integration Suite or comparable middleware.
Understanding of data migration tools, test-management platforms, application lifecycle management and service-management processes.
Command of German is an advantage.
